Covid19 Update: A note from Roger Barnick, Board Chair
We held our optimism as long as possible for a return to our school in January. As COVID numbers have increased in the past month and social restrictions have increased we faced the reality in our board meeting last week that our eagerness needs to give way to caution and we all agreed that a January return is not appropriate. As our traditional schedule has been altered, we have some newfound flexibility of what our spring may look like. One of the strengths of our school is that our small size and independence allows us to be agile during these times of uncertainty. As your board, we are looking to late March /early April and will keep you updated through the winter so you can make the best plans for your family.
Despite our closure, Columbia Kids Preschool Co-op is currently enrolling!
CKP co-op is a play-based learning community that is dedicated to educating the whole person. Early academics are gently woven into the environment through art, song, and imaginative play.
Parents play a vital role in the every aspect of this community; working alongside Ms. Virginia, cleaning, providing snacks, participating in fundraisers, and attending family learning classes. The work of the parents keeps tuition affordable. It is truly rewarding to invest in your child’s early learning in this way.
Sprouting Seeds school is excited to connect with local families!
